Sausage and Rice Casserole
1 lb. sausage
1/2 cup each onion, celery and green pepper
2 envelopes chicken noodle soup
4 cups water
1 cup rice
Brown sausage. Add onion, celery and green pepper and cook just till tender.
In 4 cups boiling water, add soup mix and cook 4 minutes.
Add rice and slivered almonds.
Pour in casserole dish and bake covered for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake another 15 minutes.
